Starting in the lively city of Kuala Lumpur, you’ll travel on to the jungle of Taman Negara National Park where you’ll be staying in a rustic wooden chalet on the edge of the rainforest which is more than 130 million years old. The higher elevated and cooler tea plantations on the Cameron Highlands are your next travel destination, after which you’ll travel back down to the west where you’ll be able to live out your tropical island fantasy on the laidback beaches of Pulau Pangkor.
Before your holiday in Malaysia comes to an end on white sandy beaches, you’ll also visit the cultural and historic treasures of Penang. You’ll spend the last days of your trip on tropical Langkawi before flying back with a backpack filled with memories and experiences.
KUALA LUMPUR/ GENTING/ LANGKAWI/PENANG TOUR
Kuala Lumpur
Visit Kuala Lumpur’s landmark buildings like the National Monument, the KL Tower, Petronas Twin Towers, Merdeka (Independence) Square, the Thean Hou Buddhist Temple and Lake Gardens, where visitors can experience the lush green park housed with birds, butterflies, and different varieties of orchids.
A drive-through the Administrative Capital of Malaysia, the charming Putrajaya in the evening is also a sight to behold.
Visit the iconic Petronas Towers, the neo- colonial Anglo-Moor style High Court building adjacent to the popular Independence Square (Dataran Merdeka), KL Tower, the famous Hindu temple in Batu Caves and the hyper modern Masjid Negara-mosque.
Enjoy authentic Chinese, Indian, and Western restaurants, large & unique shopping malls, modern high-rise buildings & ancient architectures. It also has many exciting places for the night revellers to chill out.
Shop till you drop at the numerous malls Chinatown in the evening, and do some traditional-ware shopping at Central Market.
Genting Highlands
A short drive will take you to the famous Hindu temple Batu Caves Temple en-route to Genting Highlands. Genting Highlands delights you with an exhilarating Skyway Cable-car ride at the top of the peak that sits almost 6000ft above. It also houses Malaysia’s biggest Indoor & Outdoor Theme Parks and a Las Vegas-styled Casino, offering plenty of excitement & entertainment to guests of all ages.
Langkawi
Fun in the sun with all types of activities: jungle tours, morning and evening cruises, cable-car rides, snorkelling, kayaking, mangrove trip, fishing trips, island hopping and boat rides to nearby tropical islands. The Underwater World in Pantai Cenang, one of the largest aquariums in Asia is also a must-experience adventure.
Penang
-A cultural melting pot and a culinary hotspot, even for local Malaysians.
You can never go hungry in Penang because Penang food is rich and varied thanks to the multi-ethnic history of Penang island. With Malay, Indian and Chinese settlers, the island offers the best of three world cuisines and has an incredible variety of dishes.
While catering to gastronomic desires, Penang has beautiful attractions – a mix of the traditional and modern: from the Khoo Khongsi Clan house, Fort Cornwallis and the Goddess of Mercy Temple, the Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion (Blue Mansion) in Chinatown interspaced between modern structures, and the beautiful Penang Bridge
Penang also offers beautiful sandy beaches and water sports. Make sure you keep aside enough time to spend a day at one the many beautiful beaches there, soaking in the sun, participating in water sport activities s and ending the day with a barbeque and refreshments at the beach.
