North-Caucasus Federal University

North-Caucasus Federal University is a public university in Stavropol Krai, Russia with campuses in Stavropol and Pyatigorsk. It was established in 2012 as a flagship university of the newly created North Caucasian Federal District by merging Stavropol State University, North-Caucasus State Technical University, and Pyatigorsk State University of Humanities and Technology. The North-Caucasus Federal University consists of 11 institutes and 112 departments. Ten of the institutes are located in Stavropol and one branch is in Pyatigorsk. Federal University of North Caucasus welcomes everyone who has natural curiosity and a wish to study mineral resources; everyone who is interested in deposits of ore, oil and gas, process of making jewelries, ground research for the building of skyscrapers or tunnels. University provides studies in all educational programs for obtaining of the degree/qualification.
